SLIGHT SPOILERS AHEAD!

Jedi Lost

The Jedi path is one of serenity, contemplation, and harmony. But if you have questions? If you look for answers that aren’t in riddles? If you are too empathetic and find strength in the feelings Jedi are supposed to keep at arm’s length? Iskat feels like the Jedi way doesn’t come as easy to her as everyone else. She feels like an outsider within her own ranks. When you don’t feel like the answers fit, it’s easy to see how one might seek another path…

Unsolved Mysteries

Do you think the Jedi were right to hide Luke’s lineage from him? What about the Jedi council sending Anakin to spy on the Supreme Chancellor? Right or wrong the Jedi do seem to keep their secrets. Iskat wants answers too. When she finds clues to a mystery hidden by her master she is driven to uncover the truth and find out what the Jedi are trying to keep from her.

Shroud of Darkness

As the Jedi Order dies, Iskat is presented with another path. The dark side presents its own challenges, but it just might give Iskat the freedom and answers she has sought her entire life.

Who Am I

Iskat Akaris is a complicated person who doesn’t fit in with the other Jedi. But when she becomes an Inquisitor will she finally find the belonging she seeks? And if not, is there anywhere in the galaxy she will ever belong?

Bits and Pieces

Inquisitor: Rise of the Red Blade is haunting, cynical, and unforgiving. It takes us from one side of the Force to the other while making consequences clear and understandable, no matter how difficult. It lets us understand how a person can find themselves at home in the most unexpected places. Choice, freedom, connections, and empathy are all strong themes explored by Akaris. Dawson once again gives us another amazing tale of a character choosing to walk the darkest path.

This is a must-read for anyone looking for more than just the narrow dogmatic view of the Jedi and fully giving themselves to the dark side!
