The Rebels return to Jedha to stop the Empire from sifting through the ashes for every last kyber crystal. This story was an amazing connection to Rogue One! I LOVE Rogue One!
Darth Vader faces his master after his failure on Bespin and his short “personal errand.”
Warning: This story is high on the Dark Side craziness and does not let up!
Doctor Aphra is on a new job for some old tech! Once again Doctor Aphra hits us with that dose of pure frenetic chaos and pulls us all along for what has got to be the some of the most exciting and rambunctious adventures in Star Wars these days.
Valance is back with all of his T-800/Robocop moves palm blasting folks to ashes and trying to be a good little bounty hunter! Which I hear tell is a complicated profession…
Thrawn Ascendancy: Greater Good continues the story of our little blue guy’s rise through the military ranks in the Chiss Ascendancy. Once again Timothy Zahn pits Thrawn and his fellow Chiss against their enemies deep in the Unknown Regions. This time however, the danger isn’t just fleet tactics and capital ships. The enemies of the Ascendancy strike with subterfuge and politics. A new battlefield for Thrawn where he might no longer be the genius tactician.
After making his canon debut in Star Wars Rebels, Thrawn has since had lots more appearances and stories told. This 2018 comic series written by Jody Houser is an adaptation of the first canon Thrawn novel by Timothy Zahn.
Adventures in Wild Space is a young reader series written by Cavan Scott and Tom Huddleston. The series follows the adventures of a young brother and sister who narrowly escape Imperial capture but set out to rescue their parents. It’s a fun little series and I wish I had read it to the kids when they were young as the sibling relationship is a lot of fun and I think that my kids would have enjoyed that!
This collection of smaller individual stories let’s us catch up with Han, Luke, Leia, and even Sana! While I love that each story is varied and has it’s own tone, I definitely have my favorites and I’m sure you will too!
All of the glib, backstabbing, chaos, and murder droids on their very own adventures!
