Mastering the Art of Kanan Cooking: New Mexico Carne Asada Tacos with Sliced Cucumbers

I’m going to be honest.

I looked at this recipe and was like…

Ew. Cucumbers. I really don’t want to do this recipe…

But I had to.

But.

THIS WAS AMAZING!!!

The meat wasn’t tough and the marinated cucumbers tasted awesome! I added a little of my moms salt/lime/serrano mix thingie (I don’t think she has a name for it….) and it was PERFECT.

OH!

By the way after searching long and hard for it we have finally found skirt steak!!

If you are having as much trouble finding it as my dad did no need to settle for flank steak, just go to Albertsons!
