Ethan Sacks brings us a Poe Dameron story with all the high-flying adventures we would expect, plus plenty of Star Wars surprises thrown into the mix! There are some great cameos from familiar faces, some of them unexpected. The new characters are solid. Poe and Cheka have hilarious interactions. Cheka’s analytical approach up against Poe’s consistent improvisation makes for plenty of laughs.

Marc Yarza‘s art is wonderful and fits the tone of the story well. Bold colors and some nice starfighting splash pages make a statement.

Codebreaker gives Resistance pilot fans what they want! Throw in a bit of undercover escape, First Order fame seeking, and even some bounty hunting, and you’ve got a solid Poe Dameron adventure!

This mini-series is a must-read for Poe Dameron fans who need a dose of ace pilot wits, humor, and action!
