Mary Poppins
Vader blows a hole in the side of his star destroyer which vacuums him out into space leaving him in a free-floating situation familiar to more than one Skywalker.
Falcon and the Sith Lord
Sabé sets out to save Vader with some cool accessories in her new costume! Give me more crazy cool Sabé with gadgets!
I Don’t Recall Saying Good Luck
Sidious sends Mas Amedda to find Vader as he feels the effects of the Force wave… But to what end?
For the Empire
Sabé is pulled into a Force vision seeing herself in service of the Empire to save and protect those she holds dear. Interesting helmet design with just a tinge of Captain Enoch feel. Is it her greatest hope? Or her greatest fear?
Explain it to me Like I’m Five
An army of rebuilt droids destroyed by Darth Vader continue their plans to take revenge. Pair that with an Imperial mandate to take down Vader, everyone is struggling to see which side of the line they’re on…
Call Back
Unable to control his power, Vader searches out the one person he knows might be able to help. Doctor Aphra, with her knowledge of Force artifacts and historical archaeology, just might have a solution to Vader’s problem!
Whether she wants to help or not is a whole other story…
Not It
Ochi of Bestoon finds himself an unwilling volunteer most of the time.
Sword and Shield
Aphra helps Vader find the Zaly Shield. An artifact made of pure kyberite that can focus Vader’s powers for him. Basically, it turns him into a Force cannon.
I know, it’s wild but hey… it’s fun!
Counting out loud
These droids are always trying to one-up each other.
Order
Darth Vader struggles with his unlimited power while his enemies multiply around him. The supporting cast of Sabé, Ochi, Aphra, and Zed is full of interesting chemistry. Greg Pak continues his chaotic story when you think things can’t get worse. Ienco‘s art is full of raw brooding and Adam Gorham gives some fresh new perspective on this series. The story is solid and sets up everything to come in Dark Droids as things get even more chaotic… as foretold by the Eye of Webbish Bog.
This comic arc is a must-read for Darth Vader fans looking for a story more unhinged than any other with some crazy new Force equipment!
