There are lots of trippy moments inside the memory box of Aphra but this one stands out to me. All her memories of her finding a new artifact blend together as the Spark watches.

I don’t know why the murder duo has accessories but for some reason, I find it the pinnacle of humor and joy.
Like, I have to reorganize the hierarchy of things I have found humorous in my life because I have now seen Triple Zero and BT wearing clothes.

Null and Void
Aphra connects to the AI of Miril, former leader of the Ascendant and creator of the Spark Eternal. Miril also gives her the Null Blade, a weapon of cortosis designed to be the ultimate Sith Killer.
No Survivors
We also find out the history of the Ascendant and their fate. The Sith ultimately wiped them out. There is a lot of very interesting storytelling here and I hope we get more stories about The Ascendant.
Live, Laugh, Love…
Alyssa Wong keeps bringing us a comic series full of dark humor and building plenty of deeply disturbing characters I can’t wait to see more of. Tying into the possession story is a lot of history of the Ascendant, the Sith-worshipping cult who created these artifacts so they could harness the power of the Sith without being Force-sensitive. Not to mention Domina Tagge and the lethal corporate espionage happening within the Tagge Corporation! The characters continue to bring plenty of laughs, love, and violence and I couldn’t ask for anything more from my Doctor Aphra fix except “Karabast what will they do next?”
This comic arc is a must-read for Doctor Aphra fans wanting to learn plenty about the Ascendant and the Sith!
