Prison break! Moving the Stormwall! Socorro Jayme! And a hot weird guy with freaky eyes!
Crash Zone collects three one-shots from Phase III of The High Republic Adventures.
- Crash Landing
- Crash and Burn
- The High Republic Adventures 2025 Annual
The first two parts follow Crash Ongwa on her quest to bring down the Nihil responsible for the attacks on her home of Corellia. The last part is five short stories from Phase III of The High Republic, each written and illustrated by different authors and artists!

Crash Landing and Crash and Burn, written by Daniel José Older, follow Crash and her crew through their adventures trying to bring down every last Nihil on Corellia. Crash Landing is illustrated by Rachele Aragno, and Crash and Burn is illustrated by Nick Brokenshire. Both art styles are very different and lend their own unique viewpoint. The story has plenty of laugh-out-loud energy with all the action and antics readers of The High Republic Adventures are familiar with. There’s something really special about Crash’s entire crew and their interactions. The characters all have energetic and unique personalities that bounce off of each other in such entertaining ways! The characters’ rapport is where the story really shines.

The five short stories from the 2025 Annual are:
- Three Younglings & the Snackfrog of Doom by Charles and Rosemary Soule
- Heart to Heart by Alyssa Wong
- The Adventures of Churo the Hutt and the Heart of Eroudac by Zoraida Córdova
- Brothers and Sisters by Cavan Scott
- Stellan’s Wisdom by Justina Ireland
Each short is its own standalone story about different characters from this era. Bree, Jon, and Toko from Jedi Brave in Every Way return and have a great adventure involving a Holotheater and Torban Buck! Heart to Heart features Driggit Parse, Emelsine Tarkin, and plenty of thrilling skullduggery on Eriadu. My favorite of the bunch is the return of Churo the Hutt in The Adventures of Churo the Hutt and the Heart of Eroudac. The art by Juan Samu is brilliant, and the colors are vibrant. Brothers and Sisters focuses on Baron Boolan and his Children of the Storm. And finally, Stellan’s Wisdom has Vernestra Rwoh as she reflects on the teachings of her master.
This collection is a must-read for Crash fans who need more of her special brand of proactive chaos, unplanned action, and awkward humor!
