SLIGHT SPOILERS AHEAD!

Knowledge is Power

Reath Silas is hard at work researching the Nameless and trying to find a solution for the Blight that threatens the galaxy. He has thrown himself deep into the archives and become driven by the responsibility. But he isn’t alone. Vernestra Rwoh, recently injured in a battle, helps Reath on his search. Amadeo Azzazzo and his master Mirro Lox also share their insights. Together they all offer Reath wisdom, perspective, experience, and most importantly friendship. As heavy as everything is on Reath’s shoulders, at least he doesn’t bear it alone.

Jedi Lost

After deserting the Jedi order and his new padawan on Corellia, Cohmac Vitus also searches the galaxy for answers. Outside of the order, Vitus has traveled far and wide. When he finds clues that could point to the origins of the Nameless, Cohmac knows he must return to the Jedi and work together. And that also means facing his former padawan Reath.

Deep inside the Jedi temple, another former Jedi is lending his knowledge to the important research. Reath has sought out Azlin Rell who has embraced the dark side in his all-consuming search for the Nameless. But can he be trusted? Do their goals really align?

Children of the Storm

Sicarus is a Child of the Storm hunting down Jedi across the galaxy. One of Baron Boolan’s experiments, Sicarus has control over a group of cybernetically enhanced Nameless. Together they seek out Jedi lost behind the stormwall for the Nameless to feed on. Baron Boolan has tormented his subjects in his brutal experiments. Even Sicarus, who revels in his new abilities, is a broken shattered child. And the Nameless creatures grow even more starved and desperate under their new masters.

Bits and Pieces

Tears of the Nameless begins to answer the questions we’ve been waiting for as the Nihil, the Nameless, and the Blight have continued to plague the galaxy. George Mann approaches these horrifying events through each and every one of the characters’ experiences. Reath and our heroes have come so far since we met them and their growth and maturity unfold with every challenge. The enemy continues to wreak destruction and the Children of the Storm and Nameless grow more vicious in their attacks. As Reath grows more seasoned and desperate, he must learn who to trust and who to fear. And while our heroes seek out the answers to save the galaxy, time is running out.

This is a must-read for The High Republic fans looking for answers to help the Jedi in their fight against the Nameless and the Blight.
