Hyperspace Stories — Grievous Review!

General Grievous must prove himself against his enemies: the Jedi. But what makes Grievous such a superior warrior?
That is a question only Grievous can answer.
Jedi Ba(y)e! Beast mode! Wild creatures! And destroying faith!

As well-known as General Grievous is, there are not many stories centered on him. Michael Moreci offers a story that gets to the heart of Grievous, his motivations, strengths, and purpose. The story seems to take place in the early days of the Clone Wars as Dooku sends Grievous on a mission to test his metal mettle.

The art by Caio Filipe is gorgeous and offers plenty of dynamic action, dramatic lighting, and imposing shadows.

The story gets us into the mindset of the cyborg general in a way that hasn’t been explored. The new characters are great! We’ve got a new squad of clones and Jedi General Cardiff Baye. Baye is a Jedi much like Anakin Skywalker. He takes action, is fearless, bold, and some might even call him arrogant.

Baye must face off with Grievous on the untamed world of Katou, where the people live in balance with the wild beasts. Predator, prey, and those trapped in the middle all come to a reckoning as Grievous and Baye clash. This story is action-packed with lots of introspection into what makes Grievous a monster.

This mini-series is a must-read for Grievous fans looking to see what drives this cyborg!
