Meet Zan! A young Star Scout, training to be a good Imperial citizen. After all, the Empire brought peace to the entire galaxy, right? After a surprise visit from Darth Vader himself, Zan and his fellow scout Deeta find themselves trapped on a cargo ship heading to Mustafar. Can these kids survive the horrors that await them?

Star Scouts
Zan and Deeta are Vardos Star Scouts. Although they still aren’t teenagers, they are preparing to serve the Empire with great distinction. Zan is especially excited to join up one day! Deeta is always calm, collected, and definitely one of the sharpest scouts around. The circumstances they find themselves in are about to put their training to the test.
Dark Lord
When Darth Vader himself pays Vardos a visit. Zan sees for himself the terrifying power the Emperor’s Right Hand wields. No story can prepare one for the sheer might of seeing Vader in action.
But Zan has heard other stories. Stories too scary to even think about.

Fortress Vader
As if Vader wasn’t scary enough, when the kids find themselves on Mustafar at Vader’s Castle, the horrors just keep coming. Trapped in a place they DEFINITELY shouldn’t be, the kids need to work together to find a way back home. Hopefully, they can stay alive long enough to get to safety!
Bits and Pieces
Cavan Scott brings a tension-filled story of young ones facing their fears! The characters are fun, and the story puts them in some downright terrifying situations. Darth Vader remains one of the most haunting villains around, and this story is no different. The audio production is top-tier with full music and sound effects. Not to mention Marc Thompson‘s always solid performance. Highly recommended for fans of Cavan’s spooky stories!
This is a must-read for anyone looking for a Star Wars kids’ story with plenty of thrills, chills, and Darth Vader himself!
