Beyond the Dune Sea, Obi-Wan weathers a coming storm and reflects on his life, lessons, losses, and purpose!
Runaway kids! Bridge battles! Friends to enemies! And masters and apprentices!
Christopher Cantwell gives us an Old Ben reflecting on a life lived full of obstacles. The art is beautifully done and also seems to switch styles between the present Old Ben and the memories with Obi-Wan. It fits the story perfectly and adds a gorgeous visual layer to the storytelling!

SPOILERS AHEAD!

Under the Stars
Li’l Obi remembers a night under the Coruscant stars when he said goodbye to a friend. I mean, Jedi pajama times are usually great but this story is moving and really sets the tone of Kenobi’s life and all the goodbyes he will have to say throughout.

Twin Suns
It’s nice to know he still thinks of Maul.

Sunglasses at Night
Jinn and Kenobi come out rocking night vision macrobinoculars to figure out what’s going on in this darkness-engulfed world!
They look hella fly tho.

Battlefront
In an early battle in the Clone War, General Kenobi suffers incredible losses and realizes there will be many more before the war ends.

Repair Costs
When anything goes wrong with your car… or water heater… or kitchen sink…

What a Lovely Room of Death
Kenobi and General Skywalker approach the stronghold of a former ally who has not taken the death toll of the war quite as well as them. Surrounded by death it’s easy to see how one can lose all hope.

Spinal
Excuse me, sir did you say that is an actual spine?
That’s pretty messed up.

Tales From the Dune Sea
Stormtroopers on Tatooine share spooooooooky stories of the Tusken Raiders they’ve picked up…

A Jedi’s Purpose
Obi-Wan has been through more than his fair share of pain. But seeing the lessons he learns along the way and where he finds his hope really puts his entire journey in perspective.
This comic arc is a must-read for Kenobi fans who want to find some reflection, purpose, and hope in the memories and stories of old Ben!
