Mind Tricks
Some might call this coercion. The Jedi probably call it encouragement.
Dad Jokes
Yoda gets a nice jab on Windu in this tranquil scene.
Fire and Ice
A world covered in ice and snow with blue lava beneath the surface. Makes for a pretty cool setting for the story!
Homeworld
Turns out Azita Cruuz is also from the same homeworld as Mace Windu. The story doesn’t delve too deeply into Windu’s past, but some great conversations take place about Haruun Kal.
Knowledge and Defense
Windu expounds on some of the core Jedi beliefs. The lightsaber might be a weapon, but it is also so much more. I love the idea that the lightsaber is a symbol of the Jedi.

Choice
Choice is an interesting concept to ponder, particularly about the Jedi and the idea of beginning training at such a young age. I love thinking about this and how it’s been coming up in recent Star Wars media. The Acolyte, The Glass Abyss, and The Living Force come to mind.
A Little Bit Culty
The Shroud sends their peeps to stop Coaxium Ultra from ever getting out. The DUSK WEAVERS OF THE HAD’LE PATH. It looks like they are ready to throw down! It’s always good to see some culty types get rekt.
Order
The story is a pretty self-contained fun straightforward Mace Windu adventure! It’s definitely something to check out if you like seeing some Jedi adventures when they aren’t embroiled in a galaxy-wide war. Some cool characters, interesting worlds, and creature encounters! Azita Cruuz is an especially fresh new character and I hope she pops up in other places soon.
This comic arc is a must-read for Windu fans looking for swashbuckling Jedi action!
