The High Republic Adventures: Volume IV (Phase III) Review!

It all leads here! The Battle of Eriadu rages, and our heroes work to defeat the Nihil. In the skies, streets, and even underground! The Jedi, the Tarkins, Crash and the crew, and Republic forces all join together to make sure Eriadu is the Nihil’s last stand.

Childhood friends! Outlawed drill ships! Nihil betrayal! Tarkin leadership! And pirate reinforcements!

Daniel José Older and Alyssa Wong bring Star Wars action, an epic showdown, and of course, pitch-perfect heartfelt moments.

Artists Harvey Tolibao, Toni Bruno, and Elisa Romboli fill the pages with everything you need from a Star Wars comic. Elisa illustrates some gorgeous and expressive characters, and the grand battle makes for plenty of Harvey Tolibao epic splash pages! The cover art for The Battle of Eriadu one-shot is a gorgeous Jake Bartok piece with Gavi and Driggit amidst a city at war! I’ve been a fan of Bartok’s for a long time, and seeing his cover art pop up on lots of recent Star Wars comics, books, and Audible Originals has been amazing!

The Battle of Eriadu kicks off with a bang, and it truly is the centerpiece of these comics. In this series, we’ve come to know the Jedi fighting on the ground, the Tarkins defending their home, Crash’s crew joining the fight, and Maz Kanata and her pirates helping defeat the Nihil invaders. Alyssa Wong’s story hits you right in the feels, and if you’re a fan of her characters, this is definitely the place to see their story through. As for the core cast of Lula, Zeen, Farzala, and Qort, they all rise together with the bold, brave, and beautiful storytelling we’ve come to expect from this series.

This collection is a must-read for fans of epic Star Wars battles and brave heroes who stand together!
